1. Project title: Constructing Waste Water Treatment System of Nhon Hoi Urban Area

2. Project location: Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Binh Dinh Province

3. Project objectives:

Nhon Hoi is a peninsula located northeast of Quy Nhon City, covering about 12,000 hectares in area. The peninsula is enclosed with typhoon-blocking Phuong Mai Mountain. To the west appears Thi Nai Lagoon with 5,060 hectares in area; to the north and northwest stretches a single strip of land connecting the peninsula with the mainland. As per the development planning, Nhon Hoi will be an integrated economic zone comprising of tariff and non-tariff areas, residential areas, industrial areas, deepwater port and tourist areas. The population of Nhon Hoi Urban Area is expected to be about 90,000 by 2020.

The constructions of infrastructure facilities in general and waste water treatment system in particular are among the priority investment projects of Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

4. Project scale:

Setting up a system of treating domestic waste water including waste water collecting gates and refining stations. The standard of treating waste water should be subject to Grade A of Vietnam standard 5942-1995.

Setting up a system of treating industrial waste water for Nhon Hoi Industrial Zone, warehouses and seaport, including a waste water refining station with a capacity of 20,000 m³ per 24-hour day (covering around 4 ha in area). The standard of treating waste water should be subject to Grade A of Vietnam standard 5945-1995.
