UPGRADING PROVINCIAL ROADS AND INTERDISTRICT ROADS,

BINH DINH PROVINCE

 1. Project title: Upgrading Provincial Roads and Interdistrict Roads of Binh Dinh Province

2. Project location: Binh Dinh Province

3. Projects objectives:

To surface most of the provincial and  interdistrict roads with bitumen or cement concrete, with a particular reference to frequently flooded road sections to ensure free road traffic throughout the province, especially in mountainous, remote and island areas.

4. Project scale:          

The road network of the province is made up of 12 lines from DT 629 to DT 640 with total length of 365km, only half of which being covered with asphalt or cement concrete and over 10% of which is frequently flooded in the rainy season. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the road base and surface by asphalting or concreting most of the remaining roads and road sections and to establish water- drainage works along the roads. The road from Van Canh townlet to Canh Lien commune (in Van Canh district) and the road from Xuan Phong to An Toan commune (in An Lao district) should also be upgraded.
