Another high-ranking eco-tourism resort registered at Hai Giang

In the morning of 19 October 2007, Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee had a meeting with the Global Petrolimex Highland Joint Stock Company (GP Highland) on the high-ranking eco-tourism resort project at Hai Giang. The representatives of the Departments of Planning and Investment, Tourism, Contruction, Natural resources and Environment, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone Administration, the Office of the provincial People’s Committee, the Investment Promotion Center also joined the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr Tran Van Khai, General Director of GP Highland presented the process of surveying the location and highly appreciated the project’s development potential. The Firm intented to invest USD150 million to build a high- ranking ecotourism resort, equipped with five-star standard at Hai Giang at the earliest time.
After the presentation by the investor, Chairman Vu Hoang Ha welcomed the investor’s intention and asked the Firm to quickly develop the master plan (1/2000), finishing the project’s files and necessary procedures for issuing its investment certificate.
