Running water supply system project at My Chanh Commune

Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee has just granted the investment certificate to the running water supply system project, serving the rural activities at Chanh Thien Hamlet, My Chanh Commune, Phu My District, invested by the Electricity - Water Services Co-operative of My Chanh Commune, totally capitalized at VND3.2 billion.
Under the project, the investor will built a system of supplying clean water (including underground well, water filtration pool, pressurized tank, sterilization station, pump, water pipe and etc), serving the daily acitvities of inhabitants with its capacity of 160,000m3/năm. It is estimated that the system will be fully operational just in 2007.
Formerly, the inhabitants in the area all used running water by self- digging and drilling wells and at present, the water source has the risk of shortage and pollution. As a result, that once the project is approved will be good news for the inhabitants of My Chanh Commune, Phu My District.
