Binh Dinh: PC vice- chairman Le Huu Loc had talks with Formosa Company

In the afternoon of 28/11/2007, Vice chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Le Huu Loc received and had a meeting with Mr Tran Khon Thai- Vice General Director of Hung Nghiep Formosa Co. Ltd. (Member of Formosa Corporation - Taiwan) on his working visit to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone.

At the meeting, Formosa Company susgested the land lease of around 1,000 hectares for constructing a complex of artificial fabric and plastic firm, thermo - power plant, specialized port and etc.
Vice-chairman Le Huu Loc ackowledged the proposals of Formosa Co. and offered other locations for its consideration. Once Formosa has its official decision, the provincial People’s Committee will consider for an in- principle approval.
According to Mr Tran Khon Thai, Formosa has invested very sucessfully in Dong Nai and the Company plans to expand its operation into different locations of Vietnam.
