VND 363 Bil to support Thi Nai Bridge Construction13 April 2007Under Decision No. 409/QĐ-TTg dated 10 April 2007 by the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, national budget’s VND 363billion would be used to further support the construction investment of Thi Nai Bridge in Binh Dinh Province.
The Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Planning and Investment with the task of co-operating with the Ministry of Finance over the balance of the above capital for the national budget plan within 3 years from 2008. At the same time, the Prime Minister also assigned the Chairman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee with the responsibility of administering and utilizing the capital in accordance with current regulations on the administration of investment and capital construction.Thi Nai Bridge is the biggest over-sea bridge in Vietnam (length:2,477.3m, width: 14.5m, tonnage: 80 tonnes, 54 bridge spans, investment capital: VND 500billion). Thi Nai Bridge was constructed within 3 years to connect Quy Nhon City to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and was fully operational on 12 December 2006. |
