World Bank loans

The World Bank will provide a US$125-million credit with a grant of US$4.6 million for an environmental sanitation project. The funds will be used to improve the sanitation conditions in the coastal cities of Nha Trang, Quy Nhon and Dong Hoi, such as reducing flooding, building new sewers and drainage systems. The bank will also offer an interest-free loan of US$50 million to help reduce poverty in ethnic minorities and communities in mountainous areas.
