Binh Dinh: Seminar on “Italian Market and wood processing industry”

In the morning of 10/01/2008, at the Sai Gon- Quy Nhon Hotel, Quy Nhon City, the Binh Dinh Department of Trade in association with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Da Nang branch and the Italian Trade Commission based in HCMC held the Seminar on “ Italian Market and wood processing industry”. Joining the Seminar are Mr Marco Saladini- Trade Commissioner of the Italian Trade Commission, and representatives of VCCI Da Nang, the Department of Trade, the Investment Promotion Center, the local Press Agency and the wood processing enterprises located in Binh Dinh Province.
The Seminar aims to introduce the trade and investment relations of Vietnam- Italy, especially the wood import- export and processing industry between Vietnam and Italy; Information on Italy’s' import requirements as well as internal taxes applicable to wood products; Entrepreneurial associations, relevant trade fairs and the training cources in the woodworking sector. At the Seminar, Mr Marco Saladini introduced Acimall – Italian woodworking machinery and tools manufacturers’ association, providing consultancy to some wood processing enterprises which desire to extend their producing activities into home furniture.
