Falconship seeks investment opportunities in Binh Dinh

Binh Dinh, 25 Jan 2008, Vice - Chaiman Vu Hoang Ha received and had a meeting with Mr Nguyen Xuan Thuy, vice - president, deputy general director of Falcon Shipping Company (a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines - Vinalines) on the occasion of his visit to Binh Dinh Province to seek investment opportunities. 

The working visit aims to seek investment opportunities in infrastructure fields of Industrial Zones (IZ), freight yard, sea port, said Mr Nguyen Xuan Thuy. Although Falconship comes after other investors, it still plans to invest in infrastructure at some IZs of Binh Dinh: firstly Long My IZ in the 2nd stage with the scale of 100 hectares, then Cat Trinh IZ (Phu Cat District), Dong Da sea port (Quy Nhon City) and other IZs and industrial clusters in the province.

At the present, Falconship owns and manages a fleet of big ships including cargo ships, tugboats and shipping services such as: shipping agency; shipping brokerage and chartering; container warehouses; port agency; salvage and tuggage; ship repairing services; international ocean freight forwarding; loading and unloading services of super-weighted cargoes and etc. With its strong points, Falconship has full potential necessary for investing and trading effectively in Binh Dinh Province.  

At the meeting, Chairman Vu Hoang Ha welcomed Falconship’s ideas and affirmed that Binh Dinh would determine on reforming administrative formalities to call for investment.
