Binh Dinh: Dialogue between provincial leaders and local enterprises13 June 2008On 11 June 2008, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Vu Hoang Ha and Vice chairman Le Huu Loc presided over the dialogue between provincial leaders and local enterprises to directly listen to ideas and reflects from the local businesses. Through the dialogue, the leaders will have timely measures to solve current obstacles and difficulties of the firms, improving the investment and business environment for the provincial socio-economic development. Joining the meeting are over 60 representatives of local businesses, commercial banks and leaders of relevant agencies.
Right here, the local enterprises exposed their difficulties and proposed their petitions about the slow ground clearance, soaring loan interest, escalating transport charges and etc which were thoroughly answered by the provincial agencies. In order to deal with the current complicated economic situation, Chairman Vu Hoang Ha emphasised: (1) All enterprises have to actively respond to eight groups of major measures to curb inflation determined by the Government; (2) Every enterprise needs to take initiative in overcoming its obstacles, using available materials at home for production development, reducing imports; (3) Consolidating activities of the already established associations and establishing more new associations such as the Association of stone processing companies; (4) Performing the motto: premises awaiting businesses not businesses awaiting premises; (5) State bank and commercial banks have to obey all regulations on monetary policies, proposing advantageous measures for enterprises; (6) Binh Dinh Power gives priority (without cutting off power) to the producing and service trading units; (7) Priority should be paid to the land allocation for the commercial forest plantation businesses; (8) Registered enterprises shall be assisted with expenses for labour training, without limits on the number of participants; (9) Enterprises must have suitable policies (salary, insurance and other treaments) to attract labours. Besides, local agencies must to well implement the administrative reform to solve quickly all requests from enterprises. |
