Vice chairman Nguyen Van Thien received Consulate general of Russian Federation

In the afternoon of 9 July 2008, at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, Vice chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien received and held a talk with Mr Yury Materiy, Consulate general of Russian Federation in Da Nang City. Also joining the meeting are leaders of the department of Planning and Investment, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone Administration.
Vice chairman Nguyen Van Thien expressed his pleasure at the development of the two countries’ friendly relations and bilateral co-operation. He also introduced Binh Dinh’s socio-economic development situation and proposed Mr Yury Materiy to co-operate and assist the province in popularizing Binh Dinh’s images, calling for Russian investors to come to do business and invest in Binh Dinh.
Consulate general Yury Materiy highly appreciated Binh Dinh’s potentials and development prospects in economics, trade and investment over the Central Highlands region, expecially the role and location of the Quy Nhon sea port and National road 19 in regional and international exchanges. Mr Yury Materiy affirmed that during his term of office, he would support Binh Dinh in introducing Binh Dinh’s images, investment and business environment to Russian investors.
Following the working session, Consulate general Yury Materiy visited Nhon Hoi Economic Zone and Quy Nhon sea port.
