Provincial Secretary Vu Hoang Ha received and had a meeting with Consulate General of India

In the afternoon of 2 July 2008, at the Office of the Provincial People’s Committee, Mr Vu Hoang Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee received and had a meeting with the Consulate General of India in HCMC. Those in attendance at the meeting also included Vice - chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc and leaders of the departments of Planning and Investment; Science and Technology; Construction.
At the meeting, Mr Vu Hoang Ha introduced Binh Dinh’s socio-economic development, infrastructure system and proposed Mr Mirsa - Consulate General of India in HCMC to co-operate and assist the province in popularizing Binh Dinh’s images, calling for Indian investors to come to do business and invest in Binh Dinh. On the occasion of the coming Festival Tay Son - Binh Dinh 2008, with the introduction of Mr Consulate General, Mr Vu Hoang Ha cordially invited the dancing troupe of India to perform on this occation.
Mr Consulate General showed that India would support Binh Dinh in restoring Cham towers, offering short - term and medium - term training courses in the fields of information technology, English learning, administrative management, banking, agriculture, graphic designing and press and etc. First of all, the Consulate General of India in HCMC will co-ordinate with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to hold working sessions between the provincial representatives and Indian business delegations to exchange investment possibilities in Binh Dinh Province.
At present, Nagarjuna International Co., Ltd (India) - the biggest shareholder of Binh Dinh Sugar Joint Stock Company is associating with Aptech to assist the Information Technology Assistance and Development Center to train informatics workers.
