On August 18, 2010, An Phu Thinh Development Investment Construction and Tourism JSC started construction of the new Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market. The new market will provide business premises for small business households in  the old Cho Lon Quy Nhon Market, which was destroyed by fire in 2006. Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung attended, awarded investment certificate for the project and issued an order to start the construction.

The report on foreign Investment over the first 6 months of 2010 of Binh Dinh province just sent to the Foreign Investment Agency (Ministry of Planning and Investment) shows that FDI sector has continued to achieve fairly good indicators in both newly-registered and disbursed capital.

The provicial People’s Committee has just had a written agreement in principle for Quy Nhon City People's Committee to call for investment in local markets in Quy Nhon City

In the morning of 1 March 2010, the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a Meeting to discuss solutions for accelerating implementation of development investment plan in 2010, chaired by the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of  the PPC.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment said the economic growth was estimated at 6.2-6.4 % in the second quarter of 2010 to bring the six-month growth to 6-6.1 %, nearly equal to the target of 6.5 % set for the year and well above the 5.32 % in the same period of last year. Foreign-invested enterprises have contributed greatly to the achievement. In the six months of the year, the foreign direct investment (FDI) capital was projected to climb 5.9 % year on year to reach USD5.4 billion.

On the morning of May 7, 2010, METRO Cash & Carry held a ground-breaking ceremony of its eleventh wholesales center in Binh Dinh Province. Chairman Nguyen Van Thien and Vice chairman Le Huu Loc of the provincial People's Committee attended the event.

On March 30, 2010, the provincial People’s Committee has granted the investment certificate for Metro Cash & Carry Vietnam Co., Ltd to register construction of Quy Nhon Metro Cash & Carry Center, capitalized at USD12.4 million at an area of 3 ha in Quang Trung ward, Quy Nhon city.

Japanese official development assistance to Viet Nam will total nearly JPY26 billion (USD290 million) in the second half of the 2009 fiscal year. The new package was announced and signed on 2 March 2010 in Ha Noi  by Japanese Ambassador to Viet Nam Mitsuo Sakaba and Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Vietnam today (February 2) signed a loan agreement of 45 million USD for the Central Region Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Sector Project. The project will support the country's efforts to achieve the national development targets and Millennium/Vietnam Development Goals relating to peoples’ access to clean water supply and sanitation.

According to the 2009 report of NGO (Non-Governmental Organizations) aid activities, Binh Dinh currently have 28 NGO projects and the value of disbursed NGO aid in 2009 has reached USD 1.93 million.

That's the conclusion of the Chairman Nguyen Van Thien at the meeting with the International Finance Corporation  (IFC), which supports Binh Dinh Province to construct Regulations on order and co-ordination mechanisms of resolving administrative procedures for the establishment of the enterprises outside the industrial zones, economic zones over the Binh Dinh province. After 6 months of implementing the actual survey, drafting and collecting opinions of relevant agencies, IFC and consulting units have basically completed the Regulations to report in the presence of PPC.

Under the guidance of the Circular No. 230/2009/TT-BTC dated 08 December 2009 by the Ministry of Finance on applying the tax rate of 10% during operation for enterprises which invest in projects of environmental protection.
